Week #18

The final week half share includes: New England Pie Pumpkin, salad mix, broccoli, string beans, Hakurai turnips.

Happy fall! We’re happy to share this beautiful last week with you as we harvest the abundance of veggies from the fields. It’s such a lovely way to end the season with a nice variety of great roasting and sautéing items like broccoli and string beans. As well as awesome fresh eating items like Hakurai turnips and salad greens.

We hope you enjoy the lovely New England Pie pumpkin. It really is true to its name. Check out a great recipe to get inspired for a nice fall dessert. Note: in this recipe to prepare the pumpkin puree, simply cut the pumpkin in half, take out the seeds, place each half face down on a pan and bake until soft. Then scoop out the meat and puree in a blender with a tablespoon or two of water as needed.

Don’t forget to grab your other farm stand goodies while you pick up this weekend. We will be open until the end of October. Wishing you all a lovely fall and winter to come. We appreciate your community and support.
