Week #6

The half share includes: carrots, zucchini, summer squash, sugar snap peas, purple cabbage, head lettuce, and Tokyo Bekana, a non-heading Chinese cabbage.

Sugar snap peas are such an awesome treat! Sweet and crunchy, they are perfect in salads, tossed in pasta dishes and lightly sautéed.

Tokyo Bekana is a non-heading Chinese cabbage. It is delicious in salads and can be used interchangeably with bok choy or napa cabbage. Grilling or searing brings out a delicious nutty flavor.

Lastly, this gorgeous & delicious featured item was made by Dylan, one of our farmers. It is called Okonomiyaki, a Japanese savory version of a pancake. Check out the recipe and enjoy the incredible farm fresh flavors.

Have a great week!
